Hip-hop newcomer Dave East drops a new track titled “Life Like.”
After unleashing his DJ Drama-hosted mixtape Hate Me Now back in October, Dave’s been keeping up the momentum with countless “loosies” and music videos. This week, the East Harlem rapper lends “Life Like” to DJ OP for his new mixtape.
“I just want some sunshine, cause we been in the rain, yo/ smiling in a cop’s face, told ’em I would stay low/ we was on that heart to heart blue love, now they show my true love/ I just found a new plug,” raps Dave.
Hate Me Now is available for download and features guest appearances by Nas, Pusha T, Mack Wilds, Jadakiss, and Styles P.
