LL Cool J Announces New Album On Twitter
LL Cool J Retires, Then Immediately Unretires & Announces New Album
Don’t call it a comeback.
After going on a since-deleted Twitter rant announcing his retirement, hours later, LL Cool J decided that he wanted back into the music game.
“I want fans vs haters to start making wagers on my next album… my day 1s should bet big. I got this,” he wrote in the barrage of tweets, before claiming it was all a joke.
LL, of course, has 13 albums to his name, his last of which was Authentic, released in 2013.
Born James Todd Smith, LL put a short video up of him and Dr. Dre in the studio a few days ago. The video was well received, proving that the fans could use some new bars from the Queens MC.
The NCIS star’s next album should do big numbers; all of his records have landed on the Billboard 200.
