A$AP Ferg Performs “New Level” At The Woodie Awards
SXSW is the place to be this week.
And as A$AP Ferg prepares to drop his long-awaited sophomore album, Always Strive and Prosper, it was only right that he tear down the MTVU Woodie Awards stage last night during the Austin festival. While his A$AP brother Rocky handled hosting duties, Fergenstein performed his latest hit “New Level.” Even though collaborator Future didn’t make an appearance, Ferg had the crowd rocking all by himself.
The Harlem rapper’s second album has been a long time coming. His debut Trap Lord was released back in 2013, and fans have been clamoring for more ever since. Thankfully, we’ve seen plenty of dope verses from Ferg, as the A$AP clan honors its “Wavy Wednesday” commitment of dropping music every Hump Day. With the way Ferg’s been rapping on freebies, his forthcoming album is sure to be a trap hit.
Watch Ferg rock the crowd at the MTVU Woodie awards up top.
