Fabolous and Dave East face off one another in a video for their collaborative track, “Summertime/Sadness.”
In the Gerard Victor-directed clip, the New York rappers trade faces Face/Off style. The 5-minute visual takes us on a trip of violence, loyalty, and wisdom, while East and Fabolous reenact the famous 1997 film with Nicolas Cage & John Travolta.
The song samples the beautiful Lana Del Rey‘s notable single, “Summertime Sadness.” This is the latest single off of the Brooklyn rapper’s latest mixtape, Summertime Shootout, which dropped this past November.
