D’Angelo Honors Prince, Performs “Sometimes It Snows In April” On ‘The Tonight Show’
The world will never get over the deaths of music icons like Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, David Bowie, and now Prince, but we’ll continue to honor them the best way we know how – tributes.
D’Angelo stopped by The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to perform a special tribute to Prince with Maya Rudolph and Gretchen Lieberum’s cover band Princess.
Dressed in a white fur vest and black hat, D’Angelo played the piano while singing Prince’s classic “Sometimes It Snows In April.” Maya and Gretchen joined the “Really Love” crooner on the side of the piano and delivered a heartfelt performance as backup.
