Beyonce Earns Sixth Number One Album With “LEMONADE”
The queen’s back on top.
After snatching the wigs of millions with the premiere of her surprise visual album on HBO last week, Beyonce’s sixth solo LP is now the number one album in the country.
According to Nielsen, Beyonce’s LEMONADE moved 653,000 units in its first week, 485,000 of those being pure sales. Bey also made history as the first artist to have six consecutive albums debut at number one on the Billboard 200.
Unfortunately, Beyonce’s LEMONADE isn’t projected to stay at number one for long. Drake’s VIEWS album is predicted to knock her from number one with a projected one million copies sold.
You can catch the 34-year-old singer in living color on her “Formation” world tour, which kicked off last week in Miami.
