PREMIERE: Josh Jacobs "What Up" (NEW MUSIC)
PREMIERE: Josh Jacobs Releases Reminiscent New Track “What Up”
Josh Jacobs, the introspective son of hip-hop, is back with another banger titled, “What Up.”
This time around, the New York-born rapper pays homage to the Big Apple by name dropping the Boogie Down Bronx, Long Island, and, of course, the birthplace of Nas, Queensbridge.
Throughout the track Josh aims to prove that New York, the birthplace of hip-hop, still has tons of life and influence left in the game. The beat is even reminiscent of rap from the earlier 2000s, with heavy bass and a sped-up, soulful sample that could’ve been on any Dipset album.
Listen to Josh’s newest release below as we await a full length project.
