Michael Strahan Hopes To Score With “Brothers” Sitcom
While his former teammates on the New York GIANTS get ready to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday, Michael Strahan will be entertaining couch potatoes across America on the Fox comedy “Brothers” this Friday.
In the comedy Strahan plays a retired NFL star (way to go outside the box there, guy) Mike Trainor who is living it up in New York City when his mother Adele (played by CCH Ponder) calls him back home to Houston (the last place any former GIANT wants to be).
His brother Chill (played by Daryl “Chill” Mitchell) is struggling to keep his sports-themed restaurant, Trainors, afloat but won’t take help from his big brother. A longstanding sibling rivalry has Mike and Chill bickering from go, but maybe mom and Coach (played by Carl Weathers) can talk some sense into them both.
“Brothers” premiers on September 25th at 8pm on Fox.
