When Jay-Z accepted his award at the American Music Awards a couple of weeks back, he ended his speech with “Men lie, women lie, numbers don’t.” It wasn’t the first time Jay had uttered those words. He’d been saying that since Kingdom Come dropped in 2006. Apparently, the internet has short term memory loss and thought that Jay dropped some etherous bomb on 50 Cent, when instead he recycled a throwaway jab (which he cribbed from Mo Better Blues, anyway) intended towards the likes of Jim Jones.
