Ever since they teamed up for 2001’s “Renegade” there has been an air of anticipation around anything Eminem and Jay-Z do together. After co-hosting the video game packaging of last year’s DJ Hero fans knew that a live collaboration couldn’t be far behind.
Well last night in Detroit they got their wish (with an encore coming to Yankee Stadium on September 13th and 14th.) With Jay-Z playing the “opening” act both on the Detroit home field the two superstars thrilled a crowd of 42,000 hip-hop fans at Comerica Park. The guest list red like a VMA’s after party with B.o.B , Jeezy, Trick Trick, Drake, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, D12 and more joining Jigga Man and Slim Shady on the stage.
