Spike Lee Teams Up With Absolut For “Brooklyn” Vodka
Even though he lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan now, Spike Lee will rep Brooklyn until the day he dies.
That’s why we’re not surprised to see him team up with Absolut Vodka for their latest limited edition bottle of tastiness. The bottle of the apple & ginger flavored vodka was designed in collab with the still Oscar-less film director and pays homage to Brooklyn and its beautiful brownstone homes, specifically the one in which Spike grew up in the NYC borough’s Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood.
Absolut is donating $50,000 of the proceeds from the sale of Absolut Brooklyn to Habitat for Humanity which will build affordable green housing in the currently-in-the-middle-of-gentrification neighborhood of Bed-Stuy.
