ABC News Pursuing Bobby Brown
After seeing OWN’s ratings soar following an interview with Bobbi Kristina Brown along with Whitney Houston’s brother and sister-in-law,not to mention their own boost from landing a Dionne Warwick interview, ABC News is trying to secure the second biggest get: A conversation with Bobby Brown. Shadow and Act says that per a network insider, if he accepts their offer the ‘Kang of R&B’ “would be paid something similar to network licensing fees or something like that.” “Something like that” could possibly net the R&B star a low to mid six-figure pay off.
An ABC rep said that if the interview does take place, no money would be paid to Brown. A few networks have said that before yet checks were still cut so…don’t hold your breath. What’s more, network sources have also confirmed that several representatives for ABC News have been assigned to track down Bobby and members of his circle with hopes to score an interview with him.
