T.I. Lands Season-Long Role on “Boss”
T.I. continues to pick off where DMX left in the chase for the rap community to produce its answer to Steven Seagal. Deadline Hollywood reports that the Atlanta-bred rapper has scored a season-long guest arc on the second season of the Starz drama, Boss. The show stars Golden Globe winner and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills villain Kelsey Grammer as ruthless Chicago mayor Tom Kane. For his upcoming role on the show, T.I. will play “Trey, a former gangbanger with designs on a career in Chicago’s City Hall who represents a symbiosis between politics and crime in Chicago.”
