Rihanna's "Man Down" Video Causing Controversy With PTC

Rihanna’s highly anticipated video to album favorite”Man Down” was released yesterday and has already caused controversy with non-profit group “Parents Television Council.” Rihanna is accussed of displaying “cold, calculated execution of murder.” The accusation refers to the opening scene where Rihanna shoots and kills a seemingly random stranger. It is later revealed that the man gunned downed had actually raped her. The PTC feels the video sends “a very strong underlying message 4 girls like me.” They go on to mention “If Chris Brown shot a woman in his new video and BET premiered it, the world would stop. Rihanna should not get a pass!”
