Should Monique Forgive Her Brother For Molesting Her?
Oscar winning actress Monique, admitted upon release of the hit movie Precious that she dug deep into her soul and pulled inspiration from own episodes of child-molestation. Her brother Gerald Imes recently went on Oprah and confessed to molesting her, and that he didn’t think he was a monster.
According to him, any child would think that someone taller and bigger is a monster. Monique was 7 years old when the molestations occurred. Gerald doesn’t go into detail about the acts and I’m sure no one would want to picture that, but he does admit that he is sorry. He wants to rebuild the relationship with his family and sister.
I leave you with this, should he be given that chance, should Monique forgive him?
