Ex-Basketball Star Will Sheridan Comes Out As Gay

There has been a general consensus among athletes and fans alike–that basketball players(and any other sportsmen)can’t be gay. Villanova college basketball star Will Sheridan is here to tell you differently. In 2003-04, Will told a teammate about his sexual preference who later told more team members but nothing stemmed from it. In fact the coach–Jay Wright didn’t find out until 2007 when Sheridan graduated! “After I found out, I was like, ‘Did you know?’ says Wright “And all the guys, they were like, ‘Yeah, Coach, we knew, they just didn’t care and I guess I was just oblivious.” Sheridan came out publicly yesterday on the heels of CNN anchor Don Lemon.
