Bobby Brown: I’m Grateful To Be Off Heroin, Cocaine & Crack
Bobby Brown has spent most of the last 15 years battling drug addiction and a faltering career. However in 2011, Brown says he’s at a very happy place in life.
“I’m definitely in a better place in my life,” Brown tells AOL’s BoomBox. “Six years sober from drugs. I’m just really grateful that I can get off the heroin, the crack, the coke.”
Brown is currently engaged to his manager, Alicia Etheridge, with whom Brown has a son and another child on the way. “I’m glad I just have a beautiful woman in my life who’s always there for me,” Brown says of Etheridge. “At times when it gets really hard, she’s right there, you know, to hold me and let me know, you know, ‘Look at where you come from and look at where you are right now.’ I’m just grateful.”
Bobby Brown is preparing to release his first album in 14 years, The Masterpiece, in May.
