Rev. Al Sharpton Endorses Rhymefest for Alderman In Chicago’s 20th Ward
Reverend Al Sharpton is endorsing Chicago emcee Rhymefest in his race for Alderman of Chicago’s 20th ward. The elections will be held on April 5th.
Rhymefest’s team issued a statement from Sharpton announcing Sharpton’s endorsement:
“We are always asking for our youth, our entertainers, to come back and make a difference in their communities. We are asking them to get involved and give back. Che is doing that. I am here today because I support Che Rhymefest Smith. If he was a negative force, I would not be here today.”
