Tru Life Offered Plea Deal In Murder Case
New York City rapper Tru Life has been offered a plea deal in the case of the fatal stabbing of a New York City man outside his apartment building in 2009.
Tru Life, born Robert Rosado, will serve 10 years for the stabbing death of Christopher Guerrero. Rosado and his brother Marcus Rosado both faced second-degree murder, gang assault and assault charges.
Tru Life was signed to Jay-Z‘s short-lived Roc-A-Fella Records subsidiary, Roc La Familia, which specialized in latino hip-hop and reggaeton. He received notoriety for his single “The New New York.”
