The Tuskegee Airmen Fly On To The Big Screen In "Red Tails"
The first official trailer for Red Tails hit the web this morning, and from the looks of it, we just might have a sweeping, historical epic to call our own. Produced by Hollywood giant George Lucas, Red Tails tells the stories of heroic black pilots in the World War 2 Tuskegee program. The film boasts an amazing multi-generational cast of black talent including Terrence Howard, Cuba Gooding Jr., Nate Parker, Tristan Wilds and Derek Luke. Red Tails is directed by Anthony Hemingway (“Treme”), and screenplay by John Ridley.
Red Tails swoops into theaters January 20, 2012.
