When Ice Cube appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last week, ?uestlove badly wanted to cover an N.W.A. song. Even though Cube’s people told him that he wouldn’t do any N.W.A. songs, ?uesto asked Cube anyway and fortunately for us, Cube said yes!
On the flipside, their performance of “Straight Outta Compton” wasn’t aired on the show.
But being the giving soul that he is, ?uesto leaked an mp3 of the “mutha-mutha” performance.
Listen closely and you can hear the band’s surprise as their guitar player, Captain Kirk, kicks into Eazy E’s verse without anyone else knowing that he was gonna do it!
