Foxy Brown Was Not Always Foxy
FACT OF THE DAY: Foxy Brown Was Not Always Foxy
The young teenage girl now known as Foxy Brown who use to battle in the streets of Brooklyn with The Notorious B.I.G. took a while getting a rap name. During her days of doing talent shows, Foxy Brown went by the name AKA before taking on the legendary name of the character Foxy Brown played by Pam Grier in the 1970’s Blaxploitation movie “Foxy Brown.” She got the idea while recording “Ain’t No Nigga” with Jay-Z.
