Beyoncé "God Bless The U.S.A." [NEW MUSIC]
Beyoncé "God Bless The U.S.A."
Beyoncé is set to show off her patriotic side tonight as her cover of Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless The U.S.A.” (often mistakenly called “Proud To Be An American”) will officially premiere at 9PM EST on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight. Proceeds from the sale of the single will benefit 9/11 charities.
Beyoncé first performed the song during President Obama’s campaign back in 2008. A studio version was recorded but remained unreleased until now, obviously in recognition of the death of Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden. The song will be available for sale on Friday at iTunes and on Beyoncé’s official website.
