Jonell "Round & Round" feat. Method Man
Cincinnati, OH native Jonell made quite an impression on listeners in 2001 with her single “Round And Round.”
Originally included on producer Hi-Tek’s compilation, Hi-Teknology, the song was re-released as part of the soundtrack to the Method Man & Redman stoner flick How High with an added verse from Meth and hit #1 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Singles chart and peaked at #13 on the Hot R&B Singles chart.
She was signed to Def Jam’s Def Soul imprint and a single called “So Wassup” was released. “So Wassup” failed to make a dent on the charts and no album was ever released.
