Audio: Scarface Not Feeling VH1’s “Dirty South” Hip-Hop Honors Tribute
Scarface called into the HoodHype Show last night to express his displeasure with VH1 for the “Dirty South” label that has been applied to their upcoming Hip-Hop Honors tribute to Southern MCs.

The legendary MC has taken issue with how VH1 will handle the representation of southern artists and their segregation from other honorees.
“Put me in general population with the rest of these…(artists). Put me in with Das Efx” – Scarface
He notes that Too Short was honored along with De La Soul in the past and that it should be done that way. (props to Nahright)
