Need a New Suit? Let Kid n' Play Sell You One! No Really.
Need a New Suit? Let Kid n' Play Sell You One! No Really.
After a not-so-successful post-rap career in stand-up comedy Christopher “Kid” Reid from the late 80s pop rap group Kid n’ Play has found a new hustle hawking suits for a LA-area discount retailer. The last time anybody seen the light skinned once-high haired rapper/actor he was doing man on the street interviews for Showtime at the Apollo. Play, on the other hand, chilled away from the spotlight and has become a born-again Christian, where he delved into faith related ventures.
I wonder if hip-hop’s Bert and Ernie received a check when Lebron James referenced the House Party duo in that State Farm commercial? Hey don’t knock the hustle.
